6 musts in Nepal

We do know there are some more, but we want to start with the most basical places you should visit. You must have in mind the length of your trip to plan it in the right way.

1#Kathmandu: Although the earthquake suffered in 2015 was terrible, the way this country has rebuilt the entire city is something unique and also something you can collaborate with just travelling here. You will be able to see this city just in a day and night.

2#Pokhara: We are now talking about the fifth part of the Kathmandu extension. It is located about 200 kilometres far from it and it is the third city in terms of importance here. You can even spend here 5 days just trying the hiking possibilities and routes around it and through the Phewa Lake.

3# Royal Chitwan National Park: its deep forests will be almost your garden during the few days you can spend here if you decide to plan a getaway. Terai, where it is located, is the southern Nepal area. The reservoirs, savannah and also the woods in the south of the Himalaya are a real beauty. You can contract a tour from your hotel.

4# Sagarmartha National Park: If the just mentioned one seemed to be an Amazon forest, this one is located in the heart of the Himalaya.

5#Bhaktapur: if you are lodged in Kathmandu we recommend you to visit this near locality. It is just 13 kilometres far and it was World Heritage declared.

6#Patán: Also located in the Kathmandu valley you will discover some of the most beautiful landscapes.

Useful information to travel to Nepal

If you are arriving to the Kathmandu airport and you want to arrive to the city center, the best transport is the taxi. You will spend about 1.5 euros and you should take a prepay bonus in the airport.

The visa costs about 50 euros and has to be dealt in the Barcelona or Madrid Consulate.

The trekking routes cost about 40 American dollars.

Finally, there is a possibility to arrive to the Nanche Bazaan base camp from where you can try to start climbing the Everest. Maybe one of the most popular activities here is a flight to the Lukla airport, one of the most dangerous experiences you will be able to try…it ends in a cliff.
